Bio
Nazanin Moradi is an Iranian-born, London-based artist working across oil painting, digital media, and performance. She completed her MA in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London, in 2016. Her work has been exhibited widely across the UK, Europe, West Asia, and the United States.
Her practice centers on the human figure as an unstable form shaped by perception, memory, and time. Through layered surfaces, partial erasure, and fragmentation, Moradi’s work explores moments where recognition breaks down and the body exists as a trace rather than a fixed presence. Working across physical and digital media, she is interested in how repetition, distortion, and disappearance affect the way the figure is perceived and remembered.
Moradi’s work resists narrative clarity, instead inviting the viewer to encounter the body through sensation, surface, and physical memory.
