Nazanin Moradi is an Iranian-born, London-based painter working across painting, digital media, and performance. She completed her MA in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London, in 2016.

Drawing on the spatial logic of Iranian miniature painting, Moradi creates layered, fluid compositions that explore memory, perception, and transformation. Her work investigates the shifting relationships between figures and their surroundings, constructing spaces where bodies, emotions, and fragmented forms continuously emerge, dissolve, and reform.

Working primarily with oil paint, she approaches painting as a process of accumulation, erasure, and reconstruction, allowing colour, gesture, and texture to carry emotional and psychological resonance.

Her work has been exhibited internationally across the UK, Europe, West Asia, and the United States.

I paint spaces where memory, emotion and the body continually reshape one another.
